You will almost always find Maria at the Club, where she has been making sure everything is running smoothly for 23 years! As the Office Manager, she is responsible for creating the best possible experience for our members and guests. Feel free to say hello when you see her!

Pisey Ung

Tennis Pro

Pisey Ung will be teaching at the club for a 4th season. She played first singles and doubles at the University of Rochester. She is currently the women's tennis coach at New Milford High School.


Tricia Dengler

Tennis Pro
For over 10 years at NMTS Tricia has taught private lessons, group clinics and summer camp for ages 3 and up. She has also taught an after school Quick Start tennis program at the Washington Montessori School and Barnum School. Over the last 4 years Tricia has organized our adult tennis tournaments. Tricia has had a successful tennis career playing USTA for women's and mixed doubles teams.

Tricia and her husband Matt have resided in New Milford for many years and have three grown children.

Michael Boucher

Tennis Pro

Michael joins us for his third summer at New Milford Tennis and Swim Club as a tennis pro. He has headed our high school program for the past two summers. Michael is an Assistant Principal at Schaghticoke Middle School and he coaches tennis during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. He served as the Director of Summer Tennis at Danbury Grassroots Academy for 8 summers, a program that won the USTA National Youth Program of the year in 2019. Michael coached the Danbury High Boys Tennis team for three seasons from 2014-2016 and also coached the Shepaug Boys Tennis team for a season in 2021. He resides in New Milford with his wife Jen and his daughter Olivia.


Abigail Delgado

Swim Instructor

Abigail "Abby" Delgado was born and raised in Costa Rica. She has been a certified swim instructor since 2013. Since then, she has taught students of all ages and abilities and In 2015 she had the opportunity to be a coach assistant for New Milford Barracudas

She has also worked for Washington Parks and Recreation, Ridgefield recreation center, New Milford Fitness and Aquatics and here at New Milford Tennis and Swim club since 2019. As Abby likes to say, "It does't get old to feel so happy and proud every time I see my students achieving their goal to become a proficient and independent swimmer."



Kathy Henkel

Water Aerobics

Kathy has been teaching and training fitness classes for over 30 years, (specializing in women’s fitness and strength training). She is a certified personal trainer, certified group fitness instructor and also holds a certification in boxing/self defense. Kathy’s passion is strength training for women. This will be Kathy’s 8th year teaching here at NMTSC. Kathy says “I love to empower women to be the best they can be and to overcome all fears when it comes to exercise. “Everyday I am privileged to help and guide my clients (both men and women) and class participants toward their fitness goals.

Kathleen L'Hommedieu

Yoga Instructor

Kathleen received her Hatha Yoga certification eight years ago from Yoga Dimensions. She continued her studies and received her Restorative Yoga certification at Kripalu seven years ago. She has practiced yoga for over 40 years and finds strength and balance in each practice. She continue to teach restorative workshops, yoga retreats and private classes in the United States and Europe. Her classes include breath work, stretching and balance, a practice for all ages and abilities. Kathleen is also an artist and an art teacher and enjoys creating art, teaching art and yoga. She was a competitive rower for 20 years and yoga helped to keep her body healthy and strong.
